Wow, great authentic Chinese food in the suburbs....who would have known?!
There are two very distinct target audiences this restaurant caters to. Those who want Americanized Chinese food via a buffet and those who like authentic Chinese food.
We tried the PayPa Tofu - this was absolutely our favorite! Delicate fried balls of tofu with shrimp and mushroom inside. It comes with a light sauce that helps make this dish come alive.
We also tried the aromatic pork spare ribs. The portions here are huge! Good flavoring. If you like authentic pork spare ribs, you'll know and expect some parts to be fatty. It doesn't disappoint from that perspective.
We also tried the Volcano chicken....oh my goodness, this was so good! The chicken was slightly crunchy, succulent and perfectly flavored and moist on the inside. Another one of our favorite dishes.
Last but not least, we tried the eggplant stir fried and that was also very delicious. We are looking forward to coming back and trying some new dishes along with our favorites! -

I have driven by Ho Ho a million and one times, but never ventured in. I decided to bring the fam there for dinner. The place is nicer that I expected, and the service was above average, excpet the server kept ribbing me because I was wearing a Vikings shirt and they lost to the cheese heads that day - it was all in good fun! I was impressed by the food. The egg rolls were light and fluffy, which I had never experienced before. The General Tso Chicken was different than most, and actually had a slight kick to it, which I enjoyed. The cream cheese wontons were better than most. I would return.

This is one of the few Chinese restaurants in this area that is open on Monday. We got a family style for 2. The fried rice was ok. Sweet and sour very good and moo goo gai pan was tasty but had no sauce whatsoever, but it was tossed with some type. But it seriously needs a clear sauce like the rest of the city. Egg rolls were fat and had a great crust, a scant amount of meat and all shredded filler. Tasted ok though. An excellent wonton soup, loaded with wontons and shredded chicken. I got their famous wings, excellent crunch and flavor and some sauteed scallions. I like that the bathrooms are right up front. An extensive menu and I'd like to try more things, I just never got over here.

The buffet didn't have much of a variety but the food was excellent and our waitress was very efficient and friendly. The General Tso's chicken was the best we've ever had and the chow mein and egg foo yung was delicious.
